Pictured above, Nicky is shown with his first crop of American offspring on his way to winning Best Stud Dog In Show at PCA 2005. He was represented by his son Wildways Mayhem at FairIsle who won the 6-9 puppy dog class and Best Miniature Puppy and his daugher Harlows In The Morning Sun who went 1st in the 9-12 puppy bitch class. Three of the four miniature puppy classes were won by Nicky children that year. In the fourth puppy class, his daughter Clarion Camelot Commotion went second.

Nicky, Eng. & Am. Champion Minaret’s Reach To The Stars TP, is a extraordinary addition to the Clarion family of dogs. Nicky has proven successful on both sides of the Atlantic. In England, he won at the Crufts Dog Show in 2002 garnering both the CC in dogs and Best Of Breed at the age of 10 months. In all he collected 7 CC’s, was the Top Winning Male in 2002 in England, and was Best in Show at the Trent To Tweed show. He was undefeated in the classes until he was 18 months old which sets a record. He was bred, owned, adored, and shown by Melanie Harwood. Plus, he was a solid producer for Minaret as Minarets Wot Dream R Made Of proves. In America, Nicky waltzed undefeated through his championship. He was exhibited at the Poodle Club of America National Specialty in 2004 and won an Award of Merit. At the same show in 2005, he not only won a second Award of Merit but was Best Miniature Stud Dog and Best Stud Dog In Show. In America, he was always shown by Katherine. What a team! He quickly became a Top Producer and now has 15 Champion children with more starting their show careers this year.

He is passing along the heritage of a strong front, depth of chest, compact form, and masses of heavy, fast growing, very black hair. But even more important for the people his kids live with, he is giving his puppies his joyful nature.
